- HUGO Human Genome Mapping Committee (HGMC) is
seeking nominations for membership. This
committee, on behalf of HUGO, monitors the
progress of genome mapping activities and
anticipates and suggests ways of satisfying the
longer term needs of the mapping community. The
election for membership on the HGMC takes place
in the second half of the calendar year with
terms of office beginning 1 January. Contact

scientists and to bioethics scholars with a
humanities background, the course is an
intensive, advanced workshop emphasizing
