When is the peak of tornado season in the ArkLaTex?
Answer: On average, tornado season in the ArkLaTex
peaks in April. However, the spring months of March
and May have a a high frequency of tornadoes. The
ArkLaTex also has a secondary peak of tornadoes in
late fall. (please see graph

What time of day do tornadoes usually strike parts
of the ArkLaTex?
Answer: On average, tornadoes strike more fequently
in the late afternoon and evening. However, tornadoes
can strike any time during the day or night. ( please
see graph below) |
