Spirit is tilted toward the sun at its winter haven on the north edge of the elevated volcanic plateau known as "Home Plate." Opportunity continues to do remote science in "Victoria Crater" as engineers perform diagnostics on the Instrument Deployment Device (rover arm) after a joint one stall.
