Audio Spot: ETSU Governor's School visits ORNL
Clarksville High School rising senior Clarissa Casey is interested in a science career and foresees Oak Ridge in her future.
"If I end up going to Austin Peay - which is a good possibility - I will probably intern here if I can during the summer because I'm very interested in the physics field," Casey says.
Governor's School Counselor Rachel Griffin says the students saw different ways Oak Ridge is working to solve energy challenges.
"A lot of the students are interested in nuclear energy and producing ways that we can incorporate new ideas," Griffin says."
ORNL is managed by UT-Battelle for the Department of Energy.
