Every state has specific laws that address child labor issues. When federal and state standards are different, the rules that provide the most protection to youth workers will apply. Employers must comply with both federal law and applicable state laws.

Answers many questions employers and minor workers have about employing minors. Covers agriculture work rules, including the necessary permits, hours and work conditions for workers 12-17 years of age. This pamphlet/booklet is in English and Spanish.
