Committee Democrats Urge Bush Administration to Hold DHS Accountable for Long Overdue Reports

WASHINGTON - Congressman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, along with Congressman Kendrick B. Meek (D-FL), Ranking Member of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Management, Integration and Oversight, sent letters to President George W. Bush, House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL), and Chairman Christopher Cox, (R-CA) referencing the approximately 100 outstanding reports that are overdue for submission to Congress.
