Each day seven Animal Control field officers and one sergeant patrol this service area of over 2,200 square miles. Service area population is approximately 1.2 million residents. Animal Control field services are provided 24 hours, 7 days per week. Officers are on duty from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily with emergency services provided at other times by on-call officers.
