An important aspect of the National Park Service mission is to offer educational opportunities to people of all ages. At Saint Croix Island International Historic Site, site interpretation on the mainland enriches visitor experiences. The National Park Service has also developed unique curriculum-based tools in the form of traveling teacher trunks.
