Application Instructions

To facilitate processing of your information, please follow these instructions for resume format before cutting and pasting your resume into eRecruit.

Employment Opportunities for Band 1 (GS-7) through Band 5 (GS-15)

Use NGA's eRecruit System to view current employment opportunities, create a log-on ID, apply for available positions and update contact information. (NGA uses an automated resume referral system. SF 171/OF 612, Application for Federal Employment, will NOT be accepted).

Employment Opportunities for NGA Senior Executive Positions (DISES and DISL)

Opportunities properly classifiable above NGA’s pay band NI 5 (GS-15); not designated above Level IV of the Executive Schedule. Different applications procedures apply to NGA Senior Executive Positions thus apply via the instructions found in the individual announcement.

Pat Roberts Intelligence Scholars Program (PRISP)

NGA can offer monetary incentives through PRISP to candidates with the requisite skills/expertise. In addition, NGA employees with less than 24-months employment with the Intelligence Community can receive up to $25,000 for continuing education or specialized training in targeted skills.

NGA Student Programs

NGA currently has two student programs that offer great opportunities to learn and earn. Applications are accepted July 1st through November 1st each year.

The criteria for adjudication in accordance with the guidelines set by “Director Central Intelligence Directive 6/4” and DoD 5200.2-R, “Department of Defense Personnel Security Program Regulation”.
