Admission: Free for grounds, trails and barn; no park entrance fee.

Guided House Tour Fee:  (cash or check only)
$5.00 for Adults 16 and older
$3.00 for seniors 62 and older
Children 15 and under admitted free.

Passes:  The park sells the new America the Beautiful- National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes.
*These passes do not discount the house tour fee.

It takes over six YEARS to clean all the books in Carl Sandburg's collection. Cleaning books is a routine task for the museum staff at Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site. The books are cleaned to reduce pests like silverfish from eating these valuable artifacts.
