The NTTC has worked with NASA since 1989 providing the services and capabilities needed to meet the changing needs of NASA for managing intellectual property and creating technology partnerships.
Working with NASA Field Centers all across the United States, the NTTC assesses technologies and creates partnerships that leverage research efforts and maximize product-development opportunities. By guiding innovations from the lab to the marketplace, the NTTC helps to bring useful new products to all Americans.
Smoke detectors, CT scanners, global positioning systems, the cordless drill. These products and thousands more are results of NASA technology transfer. The NTTC provides a crucial link in this process by connecting NASA with companies that can commercialize federally funded technologies.
