Eccles Health Sciences Library

The NN/LM MidContinental Region offices are located in the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library on the University of Utah campus. The library is located in the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, directly south of University Hospital, north of the College of Nursing, east of the Utah State Health Department, and west of the Eccles Institute of Human Genetics. Signs on Wasatch Drive, Medical Drive, Medical Drive South and North Medical Drive mark the route to the Eccles Library.

Driving Directions

From the Airport Map

• Take the I-80 E ramp on the left to City Center/Ogden/Provo
• Keep right at the fork, follow signs for City Center/N Temple St and merge onto UT-186 E
• Continue on North Temple St.
• Turn right at State St
• Turn left at 100 South
• Continue on 100 South to the Univerisity of Utah Campus, where 100 South becomes North Campus Drive
• Continue on North Campus Drive as it curves up the hill
• Turn right at 1880 E/Medical Dr
• Turn left at S Medical Dr
• Follow the road as it curves to the left
• Turn right into Parking Lot #55 Nursing Terrace. (See Parking below)

From First (100) South Map

• Travel east on First (100) South to the University of Utah campus
• First (100) South becomes North Campus Drive
• Continue on North Campus Drive as it curves up the hill
• Turn right at 1880 E/Medical Dr
• Turn left at South Medical Dr
• Follow the road as it curves to the left
• Turn right into Parking Lot #55 Nursing Terrace. (See Parking below)

From Fourth (400) South Map

• Travel east on Fourth (400) South to the University of Utah Campus.
• Once on campus, this road becomes South Campus Drive.
• Travel east past the Huntsman Center (approximately 1820 East)
• At the traffic light, turn left onto Wasatch Drive
• Just after the next traffic light bear to the right onto Medical Drive
• Continue east uphill; take the right fork onto South Medical Drive
• Follow the road as it curves to the left
• Turn right into Parking Lot #55 Nursing Terrace. (See Parking below)

From Foothill Drive Map

• Travel north along Foothill Drive past Research Park
• Turn right onto Wasatch Drive
• Just after the second traffic light bear to the right onto Medical Drive
• Continue east uphill; take the right fork onto South Medical Drive
• Follow the road as it curves to the left
• Turn right into Parking Lot #55 Nursing Terrace. (See Parking below)

Parking

Short term (2 hour maxiumum) parking is available at parking meters in parking lot #55 directly in front of the library. Full day parking is available in the parking structure southeast of the library. Daily rate is $10.
