EPIC offers two courses of training available to Federal/State/Local Law Enforcement Agencies: Operation Jetway and Operation Pipeline Convoy. Operation JETWAY Operation JETWAY is three day training course designed for Federal, state and local law enforcement personnel assigned to airport, train, bus, parcel or hotel/motel interdiction units. DEA policy states that this a mandated training program for all DEA Special Agents and Task Force Officers assigned to these types of transportation groups. The proponent for this course is the El Paso Intelligence Center, State and Local Liaison Unit. The following link will provide you with an updated list of scheduled and pending Jetway courses. Please do not contact EPIC for pending courses. As the courses become available the list will be updated. The courses are limited to the number of attendees, therefore all interested officers and agents must register with EPIC prior to attending the course.
Operation Pipeline/Convoy Operation Pipeline/Convoy Training: Operation Pipeline/Convoy is a four day, Department of Justice approved, criminal interdiction training program. The course is designed for state and local law enforcement personnel whose primary assignment is highway interdiction. The Instructional Goal of this course is to train uniformed officers on identifying illegal activity indicators while they are engaged in traffic enforcement operations. Specifically, the training focuses on drug/money concealment detection techniques. The following link will provide you with an updated list of scheduled and pending Pipeline/Convoy courses.
