My Key Priorities
The Floor of the United States Senate
While the general direction of Senate activity during the course of a Congressional Session can be predictable, the actual day-to-day business expected on the Senate Floor tomorrow may not be entirely determined or agreed upon until the conclusion of today's proceedings. The Secretary of the Senate publishes a Floor Schedule to report when the Senate will next meet and which items of business are first on the agenda. This schedule almost always includes an account of the proceedings of the previous day's activities.
