North American Pollinator
Protection Campaign
CSREES is one of 90-plus organizations participating
in the North
American Pollinators Protection Campaign
(NAPPC). The NAPPC works to implement,
promote, and support a continent-wide plan
encouraging activities that increase the
numbers and health of resident and migratory
pollinating animals. Pollinators are indispensable
to one-third of the food consumed by humans,
and allow the reproduction of more than 90
percent of flowering plants.
