North American Pollinator Protection Campaign

Greg Crosby, chair of the North American Pollinator Protection Campaign’s (NAPCC) Education Committee and CSREES national program leader, was instrumental in developing the educational curriculum, Nature’s Partners. This NAPCC curriculum was funded through a grant from the CSREES Division of Natural Resources, in partnership with the University of California - Davis.

Nature's Partners is an inquiry learning-based curriculum of six to eight 1 to 2 hour sessions for young people in the 4th through the 6th grade. It is designed for use in a nonformal education setting and can be easily adapted for classroom use. Each session offers activities designed to engage young people in active investigative science following a learning cycle of exploration, concept introduction/development, and concept application.
