Growing Recognition

ENERGY STAR is now recognized by more than 60% of US consumers nationwide. In areas with active state/utility programs, recognition exceeds 70%. EPA expects that its new Public Service campaign, launched in early 2001, will continue to build awareness and recognition of ENERGY STAR in the US. ENERGY STAR is also working to build recognition internationally through our foreign country partners Europe, Asia, and Australia.
