U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs New Orleans Regional Office Loan Guaranty Information The VA Loan Guaranty Service in New Orleans is the organization within the Veterans Benefits Administration charged with the responsibility of administering the home loan program.  Through recent reorganizations within VBA new loan originations and default loan servicing have been centralized into the Houston Regional Loan Center in Houston, Texas.  Additional restructuring moved requests for Certificate of Eligibility processing to the Los Angeles Regional Office in Los Angeles, California.  Our remaining functions include Construction and Valuation and Property Management Operations. The VA Mission To help veterans and active duty personnel purchase and retain homes in recognition of their service to the Nation. All veterans and other participants in the program will be treated in a courteous, responsive, and timely manner. We will endeavor to operate in the most efficient manner possible to minimize costs and ensure the best use of the taxpayer's dollar.
