About this Organization
Naval Base Kitsap has installations in Bremerton, Bangor and Keyport. NB Kitsap serves as the host command for the Navy's fleet throughout West Puget Sound and provides base operating services, and support for surface ships and submarines at Bremerton and Bangor. NB Kitsap also provides service, programs, and facilities to meet the needs of hosted warfighting commands, tenant activities, crew, and employees. NB Kitsap was the recipient of the 2005 Commander in Chief's Award for Installation Excellence - the Best Base in the U.S. Navy and has won the SECNAV Platinum award for the last 4 years for Energy conservation.
