On May 13, 2008 USCS Montreal conducted a Webinar providing an Overview of the Medical Device Regulations for Canada to 47 U.S. participants plus five other Healthcare Team guest visitors.

This over one-hour webinar delivered a first class overview of Medical Devices Regulations in Canada. Health Canada expert guest speaker, Nancy Shadeed, Manager of Health Canada''s Medical Device Bureau Licensing Division provided a highly informative presentation and answered many questions, thus providing the audience of 52 participants with further highly valuable regulatory data and advice for expanding their knowledge of the Canadian market and facilitating export procedures and compliance. The series of questions demonstrated the genuine interest of U.S. firms in the Canadian Medical Devices regulatory market.

This Webinar also went further in imparting good information to specifically help some participating companies. A total of 47 paid registrations were recorded for this event.
