Resource Sharing and Document Delivery
South Central Region Document Delivery Plan
For Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas
DOCLINE® Information
Resource sharing and document delivery in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine is accomplished through DOCLINE, the National Library of Medicine's automated interlibrary loan (ILL) request routing and referral system.
Loansome Doc
Loansome Doc is a document delivery service provided by participating DOCLINE libraries to users of PubMed. Loansome Doc allows users to order MEDLINE documents retrieved in PubMed searches from libraries that have agreed to serve them.
Electronic Fund Transfer System
The Electronic Fund Transfer System (EFTS) is a transaction-based electronic billing system for interlibrary loan (ILL) and document delivery. EFTS virtually eliminates the need to create invoices and write checks for reimbursement for interlibrary loans and document delivery between participants. Among the advantages are monthly detailed transaction based reports, the ability to handle variable charges and the ability to handle non-DOCLINE transactions.
