What does Ames do in aeronautics research?
Engineers and scientists at Ames study a wide range of technology issues relating to aircraft and our National Air Transportation System. Ames Aeronautics performs a government role, conducting research which commercial organizations cannot afford. I'm an Engineering student at Stanford and would like some information about NASA internship programs.

I'm interested in becoming an astronaut. What do I need to do?

Does NASA collaborate with private industry and the commercial sector?
