Tanzania unbans DDT

Government seeks to crush malaria, which is the number one killer in Tanzania, claiming the lives of 50 percent of children under five as well as pregnant women

Tanzania has lifted their ban on DDT in order to control malaria.  This is great news for Tanzanian children and pregnant moms.  See below under "Additional Reading" for full article.
