Congratulations to the Peterson family of Delta Junction for their selection as the 2007 Farm Family of the Year by the Alaska State Fair and the Alaska agricultural community! At the Fair Board Director's reception on the opening day of the Alaska State Fair, Insanity Acres' three-generation family farm was honored for all their hard work and commitment to agriculture in the State.

Report forms for the 2007 Census of Agriculture will be mailed to farm and ranch operators on December 28, 2007 to collect data for the 2007 calendar year.

Completed forms are due by February 4, 2008 and 2007 Census results will be available starting in February 2009.
