NIH eSubmission - Incorrect Warning Message for Sr/Key person

What is the issue?

On September 22, 2006 NIH deployed a new release of eRA System software that inadvertently introduced an invalid warning message. Every application will get the warning message that the Key Person name listed on their application does not match the one on their eRA Commons account. For each Senior/Key person entered on the Research & Related Senior/Key Person Profile component the warning will trigger regardless of whether the Credential field is included or correct.

The warning message states:

“The name provided for Key Person John Doe on the Senior/Key Person page does not match the eRA Commons account name John Doe. The grant image will display the name as submitted.”

What to do?

Please ignore this warning. As you are aware, warnings do not stop the processing of applications. The NIH eSubmission team will address this issue as soon as possible.
