The Aerial Photography Field Office (APFO) has a vast amount of imagery of most of the United States and its territories, with dates from 1955 to the present. Due to that fact, we don't maintain any shelve stock. All orders are produced upon request and payment has been received.

If you have the state and county code, the roll and exposure number, great! We can take that information over the phone with a credit card. An example of that information is below:
- FL - Duval - 12031 - NAPP2 1237 117L Or
- MT - Carbon - DWT - 1CC - 12
We also take phone orders for Compressed County Mosaics (CCM), if you have the county, state and year of the imagery you are interested in. And we can take Quarter Quad (QQ) orders if you have the QQ name, year, and county and state. So those examples would be:
- Antelope County, Nebraska, 2005, NAIP05 CCM or
- Antelope Mountain NE, Antelope County, Nebraska, NAIP04 QQ
If you don't have that information, that's alright. We can research your area of interest for you and let you know the imagery data, how much it will take and cost, per your requirements.
You can email, fax or send in:
- a legal description of the area of interest in township, range, and section numbers
- latitude and longitude coordinates
- topographic, county, or city map outlining your area of interest
To view which years of imagery are available for your area of interest, click here for the Imagery Catalog.
The imagery products are only made after an order and payment have been received. The methods of payments we take are:
- official purchase order (tax supported agencies only)
- Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express
The majority of our orders these days go to our customers on either a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM and this would mean that they are in a digital format. To understand the difference between digital and hard copy format, click here.
Approximately half of our newer imagery is digital based, rather than film based. But that doesn't mean you can't get a hard copy of the imagery from the digital based imagery or vice-versa. Our older imagery can be scanned and a digital product can be created from it for your use. Understand your requirements for your request and call or email us if you have any questions concerning your needs. We will be more than happy to help you in your decision making process.
To view other available products from either digital or film based imagery, click here for our Price list. It provides some more information on our hard copy size and price availability. We also have bulk purchasing available for the NAIP CCMs. Click here for more information regarding this option.
One other thing to remember, when you do order your digital product from us, more than likely you will need some sort of viewer for that product, if you don't have any Geographical Information Systems (GIS) software loaded onto your servers or Personal Computer (PC). Visit our viewer page for some downloads of free software that will further assist you with your product.
Some of the uses of our imagery have been:
- Watershed and Reservoir Planning
- Historical Record of Property Changes
- Pipeline and Power Line Construction
- Hunting, Fishing, Camping and Hiking
Drop us a line and let us know what you use your imagery for. We would love to know!
