| Islands have unique characteristics that make them especially vulnerable to climate change and variability. Given this fact, the hearing will address climate change issues facing Hawaii and other Pacific island communities, and how they are responding to climate change. The hearing also will address clean energy technologies, agricultural research, and disaster preparedness.
The hearing will be held at the Bishop Museum's Atherton Halau, 1525 Bernice Street, Honolulu, Hawaii. |
