How to Map Brownfields Grant-Type by Geograhic Area Served

When you choose to check the "Show grant type(s) for the selected geography only" option, for example, Grant Type Assessment was requested for Tarrant County, Texas as shown in the following,

You will see a map that displays an "A" (which stands for Grant Assessments) for Tarrant County and all other Assessment Grants in the general area that the Tarrant County Assessment grant is located.

To see more specific details for Tarrant County you need to click the "Identify" radio button beneath the map and choose "Counties" from the drop down list. Then click on the map and "Tarrant" will be displayed as in the following map.

However, the jurisdiction of Fort Worth City, TX is also in the same map window as shown above. It also has an Assessment Grant. In order to see both city and county jurisdictions within the same window for the chosen grant, you need to leave "Show grant type(s) for the selected geography only" unchecked as shown in the following:

Both jurisdictions are shaded in the same way. This shows that both Fort Worth, TX and Tarrant County, TX have the Assessment grant in all jurisdictions in which they occur (e.g., city and county).

To view "Tarrrant" on the map you need to click the "Identify" radio button beneath the map and choose "Counties" from the drop down list. Then click on the map and "Tarrant" will be displayed as in the following map:
