Together with Senator Edward Kennedy, Congressman Michael Capuano, Congressman Edward Markey, Congressman Barney Frank, Lt. Governor Kerry Healey, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, and other dignitaries, Senator Kerry gathered to dedicate the Central Artery Tunnel in honor of the beloved former U.S. Speaker of the House Thomas “Tip” O´Neill, Jr. The event also celebrated the successful completion of the Big Dig and paid tribute to those whose hard work made this ambitious project possible.
