NOAAPORT Receiver Characteristics

To build and test a NOAAPORT receiver, you need to know:

  • The Signal Characteristics of the transmitted/received signals (Carrier frequencys, transmitter EIRP, RF bandwidth, Data rates, modulation scheme, protocols used, etc.),
  • The Location of the satellite to aim antenna (Acquisition Look Angles, i.e., azimuth and elevation).
