Life in HR: Careers

Human Resources (HR) strives to enhance the employee work experience and develop and sustain an Agency-wide culture that invests in our people. Individuals in HR partner with senior management and collaborate with others in the Intelligence Community to provide strategic and operational HR program direction that enables the mission of the CIA. 

HR is composed of HR officers, consultants and analysts, compensation experts, and policy officers who assist Agency managers in making strategic HR decisions to be able to recruit, retain, compensate, train, and deploy a highly skilled work force to meet the Agency mission. HR is looking for individuals who are leaders and self-starters, with excellent organizational skills who will be proactive and creative in approaches to HR strategic initiatives in meeting the Agency’s mission.
