September 18, 2008 - Nevada Senator Harry Reid this week joined low-income families and Medicare recipients to discuss continued Republican blocking of legislation to lower the high costs of living and to help Americans struggling to make ends meet. Nevadans continue to struggle as Republicans squander every opportunity to help revive the economy. As Nevadans face a weakened economy, record-high gas prices and increasing foreclosures, Republicans are blocking important help for the current economic crisis.
