Department of Labor Offering Assistance to Victims of Hurricane Gustav

WASHINGTON, September 3 — Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao has announced that the Department of Labor is assisting in the recovery efforts in the communities affected by Hurricane Gustav.

Hurricane victims are encouraged to contact DOL's National Contact Center at 1-866-4-USA-DOL (1-866-487-2365) if they have questions about their Unemployment Insurance, health and safety concerns with cleanup and recovery, or income and job assistance.
