National Weather Service South Florida Forecast Office
is co-located with the
National Hurricane Center
on the campus of
Florida International University
. Our meteorologists,
hydrometeorological technicians
, and support staff keep an eye on the sky 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, producing all warnings and forecasts for South Florida and the adjacent waters of the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and Lake Okeechobee. (
