As part of the Ad Council’s longstanding partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, new PSAs were recently launched to educate parents and caregivers on the LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) system and the safety benefits it provides. Required on all care seats and most vehicles manufactured after September 1, 2002, the system makes it easier to properly install car seats.
