Homicide Suspect Arrested by U.S. Marshals
 
Tampa, FL - Around 2:30pm yesterday, Tuesday, a West Palm Beach Florida man, Ricardo David Funes-Valle 20, was arrested in the Tampa Bay Area.

After investigations by the City of West Palm Beach Police Department into the Murder of Scott E. Graham, Ricardo David Funes-Valle was identified a suspect based on crime scene evidence. The Medical Examiner determined that Mr. Graham died from multiple stab wounds and ruled the death a homicide. A warrant was obtained by West Palm Beach Police Department for Ricardo David Funes-Valle, but it was later discovered that he had fled the West Palm Beach area. Investigative sources led authorities to believe Funes-Valle fled to Tampa FL.

On 04/29/2008 the U.S. Marshals Tampa Bay Area Fugitive Task Force (TBAFTF), and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, were contacted by City of West Palm Beach Police Department for assistance. Investigations led the authorities to Ashford apartments on 30TH Street in Tampa were Funes-Valle was working. The U.S. Marshals, Hillsborough County Deputies, and Tampa Police arrested Funes-Valle without incident.

During his interview with Homicide Detectives from the City of West Palm Beach Police Department, Funes-Valle confessed to stabbing Scott E. Graham. Funes-Valle is presently in the Hillsborough County jail on one count of First Degree Murder and will be returned to West Palm Beach County in the near future.

The U.S. Marshals Tampa Bay Area Fugitive Task Force is made up of Federal, State and Local law enforcement officers. The members of the Task Force combine resources and efforts daily to track down violent fugitives of Justice in the Tampa Bay Area and Nation Wide through networking with Task Forces across the country.
