CRESCENT STAR FUGITIVE TASK FORCE AND NEW ORLEANS POLICE DEPARTMENT HAUNT MULTIPLE CRIMINALS ON HALLOWEEN MORNING FUGITIVE OUTING

Dustin Lee, 18 years old, and Damien Lee, 22 years old. Dustin Lee was wanted on a murder warrant and his brother, Damien, was wanted as a principal to murder. They were arrested at a residence in the 500 block of Phillip St. New Orleans, Louisiana. The murder had recently occurred in Orleans Parish.

Additionally while officers were at this shotgun double residence, they also arrested Trevis COLLOR, 22 years old, and Sebastian Cuveas, 25 years old, for being convicted felons in possession of a firearm. Two firearms were recovered from the scene. All individuals arrested at the residence were booking into the Orleans Parish Prison. Information on the two suspects that were found in possession of a firearm has been forwarded to the Eastern District of Louisiana U.S. Attorney’s Office for review.

Eastern District of Louisiana U.S. Marshal Michael Credo said, “This has been an excellent week for our task force, the New Orleans Police Department, and the metro area community. Yesterday we arrested a post Hurricane Katrina contractor fraud fugitive in Georgia, and today we get a murder suspect in Mississippi along with these four offenders. I grew up in and work in the metro area and am committed to making this community a safe place.”

CSFTF began in 1999. In October of 2006, the U.S. Department of Justice committed additional resources and manpower to the group to deal with the increasing violent crime in the New Orleans metro area. Since last October, the task force through “Operation Debris Removal” has arrested well over 600 fugitives with many facing charges related to violent crimes and sex offenses. The support of the many metro area state and local law enforcement agencies that participate is what has made CSFTF such a success.
