U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force and the Wilmington Police Department Arrest Kenneth Law

A fugitive wanted for allegedly committing Wilmington’s first homicide this year and the Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Felony was arrested on July 3, 2007 by members of the U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force and the Wilmington Police Department.

Kenneth Law had been wanted by the City of Wilmington for questioning in a shooting that occurred on February 9, 2007 on West 24th Street. On July 2, 2007, Wilmington Police obtained an arrest warrant charging Law with the shooting and immediately requested assistance form the First State Fugitive Task Force in locating him.

While conducting surveillance on the West Side of Wilmington, Task Force Officers observed Law enter a residence on West 34th Street. Wilmington Police Department responded immediately to the residence and Law was arrested without incident and transported to the Wilmington Police Department for his arraignment.
