Paralegals

Paralegal Hires

The Office of General Counsel (OGC) hires paralegals on a continuing basis. Paralegals are an integral part of OGC's practice. Although entering paralegal hires are sought primarily for our Litigation Division, experienced paralegals also serve in other OGC offices. 

 

Requirements

Paralegal applicants must have a Paralegal certificate; a broad range of experience in the legal profession; the ability to research, analyze and organize effectively; Internet (LEXIS-NEXIS and PACER) and legal research skills; PC skills; and strong written and oral communication skills. 

Subject to the sucessful completion of the personnel screening process, candidates will be brought into OGC as CIA staff employees. Starting salary for paralegals ranges between GS 9-11 depending on outside experience.
