Lateral Hires

The Office of General Counsel (OGC) hires attorneys with three or more years of legal experience on a continuing basis. Lateral hires are sought in nearly all practice areas in which OGC advises, with a particular emphasis on attorneys with experience in Litigation, Administrative Law, or Government Contracts. 

 

Requirements

Subject to the sucessful completion of the personnel screening process, candidates will be brought into OGC as CIA staff employees. Candidates must be an active member of the bar of any of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands. Starting salary for lateral hires ranges between GS 13-14 depending on outside experience.
