Permits

A permit is required to conduct organized First Amendment Rights activities, commercial filming or photography, sales or distribution of written material and special events within President's Park.

 

Special Use Permit applications may be requested by phone, mail, or in person:

Completed applications should be returned to the Park Program Office for review. Before any special use permit is approved the group requesting the permit may be asked to meet with National Park Service staff for a logistics meeting.

For special events taking place on park land, permittee will be required to provide liability insurance.  In addition permittee is responsible for reimbursing the National Park Service and the U. S. Park Police for all unbudgeted costs incurred for any special event which takes place on park land.
