Webcams

KLAS Channel 8 Television out of Las Vegas, Nevada installed a AWS Weather Camera on the roof of the Furnace Creek Visitor Center several years ago. This webcam sends a photo to the Internet every hour on the hour and is designed to give an overall weather view rather than a scenic view. The view is to the east over the Funeral Mountains just to the north of the Furnace Creek Inn. During the camping season, October through April, the Texas Spring and Sunset Campgrounds can be seen in the mid-ground. The highway that can be seen in the fore-ground is California Highway 190.
