New Deputy Monument Manager
named at Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument
VANCOUVER,
WA – Diana Perez-Rose was named the new Deputy Monument
Manager of the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. Prior to her
current position, Perez-Rose served as the Fisheries Program Manager at
the Gifford Pinchot National Forest headquarters in Vancouver.
"I'm pleased to announce Diana’s new position," said Monument

special places, her natural resource background, and her commitment to

Perez-Rose began her Forest Service career in 1990 as a summer student
hire on the Siskiyou National Forest in southwestern Oregon. She has a

As the Gifford Pinchot National Forest Fisheries Program Manager, she
directed fish habitat and aquatic restoration programs on the Forest’s
three ranger districts. During this time, she served as vice chair on
the Lower Columbia Fish Recovery Board’s Technical Advisory Committee.
She and her husband Don have two young children and reside in Vancouver.
