Fuels Involved | Closed timber litter. Model 8 and 10. Lodgepole and subalpine fir. Snags continue to create additional hazard to firefighters. Fire is primarily spreading from heavy dead and down fuels, heavy lichen in unharvested areas, and from harvest slash piles. |
Fire Behavior | Little to no recent activity. Residents should expect to see smoke and intermittent activity within the fire perimeter as the warmest and driest summer weather approaches. Due to the density of fuels within specific areas of the fire, full control will not occur until a season ending event such as a wetting rain or snow. |
