Commerce Committee Unanimously Approves Markup Agenda Items
Measures Include Truth in Cigarette Labeling, Marine Sanctuary Protections, MARAD Reauthorization, Oil Spills Protection, and Nominees
 
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation today approved the following items by unanimous consent:
 
1.      S. 2685, Truth in Cigarette Labeling Act of 2008
2.      H.R. 1187, the Gulf of the Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries Boundary Modification and Protection Act, as amended
3.      S. 2281, the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary and Underwater Preserve Boundary Modification Act
4.      Substitute Amendment to H.R. 1006, the Marine Mammal Rescue Assistance Amendments of 2007
5.      S. 2997, Fiscal Year 2009 Maritime Administration and Authorization Act, as amended
