Contracting Reform: Expert Recommendations and Pending Bills

On Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., the Government Management, Organization and Procurement Subcommittee held a hearing in 2154 Rayburn on Contracting Reform: Expert Recommendations and Pending Bills.

The hearing received testimony regarding the recommendations made by the Services Acquisition Advisory Panel for improving federal government acquisition practices.

The hearing also reviewed three bills related to contracting reform, the Contractors and Federal Spending Accountability Act of 2007 (H.R. 3033), the Government Contractor Accountability Act of 2007 (H.R. 3928), and the Contracting and Tax Accountability Act of 2007 (H.R. 4881).
