Secretary Rice's Travel to Darfur

Secretary Rice traveled to Darfur in western Sudan on July 21. In Sudan, the Secretary emphasized U.S. support for implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement and urged further steps to resolve the crisis in Darfur.
