Special Press Briefing on Iraqi Refugees and Displaced Persons

Under Secretary of State for Democracy and Global Affairs Paula J. Dobriansky, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres, and Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration Ellen Sauerbrey will brief the press on Iraqi refugees and displaced Iraqis.

This ON THE RECORD, ON CAMERA briefing will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the State Department Press Briefing Room, Harry S Truman Building of the Department of State (room 2209).

Media representatives may attend upon presentation of one of the following press credentials: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on original letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (drivers license or passport).
