Tribes and Intertribal Consortia EPA is soliciting applications from federally recognized Indian tribes or intertribal consortia to co-sponsor the Eighth National Tribal Conference on Environmental Management (NTCEM). This large, national conference provides opportunities for tribal leaders, tribal environmental managers, tribal organizations, federal agencies, and other interested entities/persons to share information relevant to tribal environmental protection programs and to discuss issues of vital interest to Indian country. The goals for the eighth conference are to facilitate the development and effectiveness of tribal environmental programs, strengthen networks and relationships across environmental efforts in Indian country, identify and share lessons learned, and familiarize tribes with the full range and extent of tribal and non-tribal environmental protection activities.
