DENVER – U.S. Representative Diana DeGette (CO-01) will kick off the inaugural satellite Congressional office hours for Englewood at the Englewood Public Library on the first floor of the Englewood Civic Center at 1000 Englewood Parkway, Englewood, CO 80110 on Friday, April 25 at 10AM.

On May 7, the satellite office will begin its regular schedule of holding office hours the first Wednesday of every month from 10AM to Noon at the Englewood Public Library. Constituent caseworkers from Rep. DeGette’s Denver office will staff the regular satellite office hours.

Rep. DeGette’s district office is the foundation of her Congressional district and constituent outreach efforts. Its primary purposes are to assist constituents with problems and issues with the federal government and agencies and provide a number of services for the citizens of the First Congressional District. This includes everything from helping First District constituents with social security or Medicare benefit issues to problems with immigration, veterans’ benefits, student loans or even passport applications.

The satellite office hours give Rep. DeGette’s constituents in Englewood an opportunity to meet with members of the Congresswoman’s staff without having to set up an appointment or fighting the traffic to get to the District office in Denver. In addition, it provides Rep. DeGette and her staff with regular opportunities to meet with constituents in her communities in a more informal setting

A map and driving directions to the library can be found at http://www.englewoodgov.org/. Rep. DeGette’s District Office is located at 1600 Downing St, Suite 550, 303-844-4988.
